Hamilton County Has 200 New COVID Cases And No New Deaths; Tennessee Has 3,072 New COVID Cases, 38 More Deaths

Hamilton County reported 200 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday. The new total is 20,425.

There were no more deaths from the virus in the county reported on Sunday, leaving the total at 177. 

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is 400,594 on Sunday with 3,072 new cases. There have been 38 more deaths from the virus, for a total of 4,943, said state Health Department officials.

The state currently has 2,504 people hospitalized from the virus, 39 more than on Saturday.

There have been 360,152 people who have recovered from the virus in Tennessee (90 percent).

Testing numbers are above 4.656 million across the state.

Bledsoe County:  1,237 cases, up 5; 5 deaths

Bradley County: 5,877 cases, up 47; 38 deaths

Grundy County: 840 cases, up 16; 14 deaths

Marion County: 1,239 cases, up 12; 19 deaths

Meigs County: 547 cases, up 5; 12 deaths

Polk County: 722 cases, up 2; 15 deaths

Rhea County: 1,924 cases, up 23; 35 deaths, down 1

Sequatchie County: 604 cases, up 4; 5 deaths
