U.S. Army Veteran Retired From Erlanger Hospital

Thomas Derrell Rogers, 79, a longtime resident of East Ridge, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020.  

Thomas was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from Erlanger Hospital as a nurse. He was a member of Signal Mountain Masonic Lodge #758 F&AM and the Alhambra Shrine. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul T. and Fay Rogers; brother, Doyle R. Rogers and sister, Glenda Fay Rogers.

Survivors include his brother, Bill (Patty) Counts.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. There will be no visitation.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
