Melinda Kay Baskette Garcia
Melinda Kay Baskette Garcia, age 59, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at a local health care facility.
She was born on July 5, 1960 in Columbia, Mo. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Tomlin Baskett, and sister, Windy Allcorn.
Survivors are her husband of 18 years, Delfino Garcia; sister, Cindy (Jack) Simmons of Chattanooga, Tn.; father, J. W. Baskett; brother, James Baskett of Columbia, Mo.; a host of other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Feb. 14, at 6 p.m. at the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home, 2011 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, Georgia 30721 with words of comfort by her brother-in-law Jack Simmons.
