Alma Jones
Alma Jean Jones, 88, passed away February 17, 2020, at a nursing home.
She worked at the Avondale Head Start as a Foster Grandparent. She was also in the PACE program.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Strickland. She is survived by son, John Henry Jones, Jr, and daughter, Maryann Jones; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren, one son-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
Public viewing will begin at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. in the chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, at Hope City Church, with Rev. Thomas officiating. Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery.
