Herman Johnson
Herman Johnson, Sr., 78, of Chattanooga, passed away on February 18, 2020, at his residence.
He was a retired supervisor at Colonial Bakery.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Azilee Johnson and sister, Dorothy Jennings.
Survivors include his sons, Charles Johnson, Herman Johnson, Jr., both of Nashville, and Jerrod Johnson of Georgia; daughter, Charlene Johnson; six grandchildren; brother, Leander Johnson of Chattanooga; sister, Charlene Johnson Bailey; a host of other great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
He will lie in state on Saturday, Feb. 29, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at noon in the chapel with Pastor Ronald B. Cook, Sr. as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Shepherd Cemetery.
