Thomas Brandon Taylor, 31, was unexpectedly taken from his beloved family and friends on February 16, 2020.

 

Brandon was born on June 1, 1988, in Murfreesboro, Tn., to Celia and Hal Taylor. He moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2006, where he fell in love with his wife Brianna Wofford Taylor. 

 

Brandon is survived by his wife, Brianna Wofford Taylor, his parents, his sister, Sarah Shanaman (Dan), niece, Lyla and Mema Neva Graves. He also leaves behind a number of uncles, aunts, cousins.

 

Brandon was an avid outdoorsman with a caring heart, who loved big and small adventures with friends and family.  Brandon was an Eagle Scout.  In 2013 he completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail and more recently he proudly guided his favorite kayaker, Brianna, down the Ocoee River. Brandon will always be remembered by those who love him for his leadership, wisdom, sense of adventure, and wit.


A visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 20, from 4-7 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home.
