CFC Signs Defender Raymond Lee

  • Wednesday, February 26, 2020
Chattanooga Football Club is thrilled to announce the signing of defender Raymond Lee for the 2020 campaign. Lee has played in the highest ranks of American professional soccer, having been drafted by MLS’ Philadelphia Union. The 26 year old spent much of his career with the Union as well as  a handful of USL clubs before landing in the Scenic City.

“I’m really excited to be joining Chattanooga FC” said Lee. “From the first conversation they demonstrated a genuine interest in my career and ambitions.
I feel the support from Jeremy and Peter, along with the caliber of players they have brought into the team for this season, makes Chattanooga a good step for me moving forward. Can’t wait to meet and play in front of our fans and experience what a great city Chattanooga is.”

Lee finds his success on the pitch in either the left back or defensive midfield positions. Raymond is known as a hard worker and brings a level of professionalism to the club that will elevate everyone’s game.

“We are very excited as a club to have Raymond Lee joining us!” said Peter Fuller, Head Coach, Chattanooga FC. “He brings a wealth of experience not only at the USL championship level but at the MLS level as well. He has played for some great clubs and great coaches through his professional career. We are very excited about having him here at Chattanooga FC!”

Supporters will get a first chance to see Raymond in action on February 29th in Oakland, CA against Oakland Roots, and March 14th in Finley Stadium against Michigan Stars. Chattanooga FC’s NISA Spring schedule is out and is available on ChattanoogaFC.com. Annual passes are available now at ChattanoogaFC.com, and individual tickets go on sale February 24th.
