Jacob Coyne
A Criminal Court jury on Friday night found Jacob Coyne guilty in the March 2017 slaying of 19-year-old Jalen Little, who was shot down in the driveway of his home on Oak Tree Drive.
Coyne was ruled guilty of first-degree murder, felony murder and especially aggravated robbery.
He was sentenced by Judge Tom Greenholtz to life in prison on the two murder charges. He will be eligible for parole consideration after serving 51 years.
Sentencing on the robbery charge will be on April 23.
The jury deliberated an hour on Thursday and all day on Friday.
Coyne had taken the witness stand and denied he took part in the shooting.
Murder and robbery charges are still pending against Zachary Chadwick. A detective testified that Little said just before he died that Chadwick shot him.
Police said the victim's body was riddled with bullets.
It was testified that Chadwick was mad after giving Little money for marijuana, then not getting what he paid for.
