Chattanooga Housing Authority Waives Online Payment Fees

Encouraging Online Payment Instead Of Visiting CHA Office

  • Monday, March 23, 2020

In order to preserve the health of residents and staff, Chattanooga Housing Authority announced the temporary waiving of online rent payment fees. CHA is hoping to encourage residents to pay their rent online and refrain from visiting the main office amid concerns surrounding the spread of coronavirus.

CHA residents whose payment is not already established through auto-pay can now pay their rent online using a computer, cell phone, or tablet fee-free.

To pay online:
1. Residents must visit: www.chahousing.org/pay
2. Register as New User or as a Returning User to make a one-time payment, or set up autopay.
3. Residents will need their account number to register. The leading zeros must be included.
a. Example: 000012345

Residents can call their site manager to get their account number to start using the online payment system.

Chattanooga Housing Authority’s main office remains open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
