  • Thursday, March 26, 2020

The call has gone out for the Walker County community to help health care workers obtain some needed supplies to combat COVID-19. Right now, they need disinfecting wipes to quickly clean surfaces so they can continue to work and limit their potential exposure.

A drop off point will be set up from noon until 5 p.m. on Friday, March 27, at the front of the Walker County Civic Center, 10052 Highway 27 in Rock Spring, Ga. All wipes collected will be going to local health care facilities.
