Chip Henderson will have a new term as chairman of the City Council, and Ken Smith will be vice chairman.
Both have had prior council leadership posts. Councilman Henderson was vice chairman for the past year as Erskine Oglesby was chairman.
The choices were unanimous. Demetrus Coonrod was absent from the Zoom electronic meeting, but eight others took part.
The council leaders serve for one-year terms.
