During this pandemonium pandemic you can barely get a package of toilet paper, only if you are lucky. I have lived in Chattanooga for years, went through the blizzard of 1994 among other snowstorms that usually send Chattanoogans scurrying to the stores to buy milk and bread. When the lottery reaches $500 million people flock to buy lotto tickets.
This buying up all the toilet paper and paper towels really stinks. It's insanity, fear, and, and the craziest behavior I have seen. Why hoard these paper items? Some people must have 100 or more rolls of toilet paper.
There is no need to have this abhorrent behavior, it's not going to protect you from COVID-19. More people die from influenza. Did the toilet paper manufacturers stop making it to drive up prices?
Maybe there is a silver lining to this toilet paper buying frenzy. I remember Dr. Fauci saying toilet paper is a cure for the virus. What's next, a buying frenzy of liquid plumber? Excuse me please, I need to run.
