Jessie Presley Cochran, 87, of Apison, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.  

She was born in Cookeville, Tennessee and moved to Apison at the young age of four.

She was the daughter of the late Ossie and Dora Presley and was preceded in death by her husband of 62½ years, Kenneth Russell Cochran, four brothers and four sisters.

Jessie loved square dancing and was a lifetime member of the “Yellow Rocks”. She also enjoyed farming, gardening, furniture restoration and reweaving chairs.

Survivors include her two daughters, Anita (Lloyd) Padgett and Rita (Randy) Powell; grandchildren, Sonya Smith, Kenny Powell, Amber Padgett and Haley Padgett. 

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 22, at Plowman Cemetery with the Reverend Eugene Kilgore officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made St. Jude Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org
