Drusilla L. Griffin
Drusilla L. Griffin, age 57, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Monday, June 1, 2020.
She was happily married to Robert Kevin Griffin of Dalton, Ga. She enjoyed listening to gospel music while cooking for her family. She worked as a certified nursing assistant for 10 years, a medication aide for six years and was last employed as a Security Guard for Proteck Security.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Gene and Mary Brown; brother, Kenny Brown; sister, Evette Frost; and grandmother, Lucille Little.
She is forever survived by her loving and devoted late husband, Robert Kevin Griffin; daughter Alicia Griffin; granddaughter, Brionca E. Coleman; mother-in-law, Jimmie Lou Luckey all of Dalton, Ga.; father-in-law, Bobby Giffin of Rome, Ga.; sisters, Chanda (Jeffrey) Brown of Dalton, Ga., Barbara Allen, Dovie Brown, and Marilyn Brown of Pittsburg, Ca.; brothers, Alvin Brown Sr. of Vallejo, Ca., Christopher Pearsall of Antioch, Ca.; brother-in-law, Tracy Lamar (Lernice) Dillard of Dalton, Ga.; special aunt, Willa Faye Willams of South Holland, Il.; aunts, Caroline Virginia Broome of Decatur, Ga., Gladiola Griffin of Dalton, Ga., Valencia Ramsey of Lithonia, Ga., Charlotte Griffin of Dalton, Ga., and great-aunt, Eva Lou Rivers of Dalton, Ga.; uncles, Benjamin Griffin of Dalton, Ga., Davis Griffin of Calhoun, Ga., Raymond (Lillie) Bonds of Dalton, Ga.; niece, Nicole Gray; nephews, Joseph Masinas, Nickolas Moss, William Moss, Kenny Brown Jr., Demitris Williams, Devin Williams, and Alvin Brown Jr.
The service will be held Saturday, June 13, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Weaver as eulogist. Her remains will lie in state Friday, June 12, after noon until the service hour. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery.
