David McGill, 64, of Hixson, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 24,2020.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Reathel McGill; step-mother, Rose McGill; brothers, Bobby, Butch, Dennis, and Ricky Allen McGill; and grandson, Alex McGill.

He was an employee of Signal Plating for 40 years.  He loved Nascar and Tennessee Vols Football.  He loved spending time with his grandkids.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret McGill; son, Rick (Sandy) McGill; daughters, Angela Lovelady and Tiffany McGill; grandsons, Ryne  Lovelady, Justin McGill, Cayden and Gage Thomas, Josh  (Beth) Smalley; and granddaughter, Ashley McGill (Eric Coleman); several great-grandkids; father, John B. McGill, Sr.; brothers, Jeff (Michelle) McGill, Jim McGill, Terry McGill, John B. McGill, Jr., and Jerry McGill; sister Judy Price; sisters-in-law, Pam McGill, Judith McGill, Tina Henegar, Bartha (Bobby) Hinton; and he loads of nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 27, from 12-1 p.m. 

Funeral services will begin at Saturday, June 27, at 1 p.m. in the North Chapel with Brother Dustin Taylor officiating.  Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 5401 Hwy. 153, Hixson, TN  37343.
