Beatrice Cranford
Beatrice Evelyn Cranford, 88, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, in a local hospital.
She was a 1949 graduate of Brooker T. Washington High School. She was a member of Stanley United Methodist Church. Beatrice retired from Belk in retail sales.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Alverta Presley, Sr.; and seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sons, Michael (Mary) Cranford, Sr. of Chattanooga, Reginald Cranford, Sr. of Birmingham, AL, Jerry (Bernadine) Cranford, of Chattanooga, and Patrick Cranford of Riverside, CA; daughters, Shireen Ragland, Debra Bumpass, Tracye Cranford, and Alenisa (Marvin) Smith, all of Chattanooga; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Harris of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Shirley Presley of Louisville, Ky.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Beatrice will lie in state on Monday, June 8, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with a family graveside service to follow at noon in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
