Evelyn F. Lawson went home to be with her Lord on July 11, 2020, at Cumberland Rehab in Bridgeport, Alabama.  

She was born on March 25, 1939 in South Pittsburg, Tn.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to cook and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Floyd Lawson, Jr.; parents, Earl and Jessie Martin; son, James Steven Lawson; brother, Tommy Martin; sisters, Wilberta Rollins, and Jewel Fulfer.

Evelyn is survived by her by her son, Donald Lawson (Vickie); daughter, Jamie Russell; brothers, Joe Martin (Faye), Chester Martin (Thelma), Charlie Martin (Kathy), and Jimmy Martin (Carolyn); sisters, Nellie Kilgore (Tommy), and Earlene Ziegler; grandchildren, Steva Cooper (Justin), Ryne Lawson, Fallon Johnson (James), Steven Lawson, Danielle King (Matt), Franklin Russell, Casey Russell and Carter Muir; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service on July 15, at Orme Cemetery in South Pittsburg, at 1:30 p.m. CST.
