Dorothy Jane Brewster, age 71, of Highway #114, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday morning, July 22, 2020, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She was born Feb. 7, 1949, daughter of the late Samuel Lee and Frances Woody Hensley. Mrs. Brewster was a member of the Church of Christ and retired school teacher from the Trion Schools. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edgar Brewster; son, Jonathan Mark Brewster; and siblings, Carolyn Mae Ewing, Bobby Lee Hensley, Johnny Faye Hensley, Patricia Ann Smith, Cheryl Marie Brown and Sheila Gail Rape.
Surviving are daughter, Karen Brewster Wilson (Danny) of Dalton; daughters-in-law, Kimberly Brewster of Summerville and Rebecca Brewster of LaFayette; son, Thomas Gregory Brewster of San Antonio, Tx.; grandchildren, Joshua Wilson (Katie), Kelsea Wilson, Kalee Anna Volzer (Justin), Kara Beth Brewster, Karlie Brewster, Kloie Brewster, Jackson Brewster, Graycen Brewster; great grandson, Henry Luke Volzer; sister, Imogene Hensley; brother, Douglas Hensley of Summerville; and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held Saturday, July 25, from Greenhills Memory Garden, with Dalton Sprayberry officiating. Active pallbearers will be Chris Boling, Dake Boling, Justin Boling, Jackson Brewster, Josh Wilson, and Danny Wilson.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 24, from 5-8 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Brewster, #2380 Highway #114, Summerville, Ga
