Geert Juliene Coone
Geert Juliene Coone, age 55, departed this life Friday July 24, 2020 at a local hospital.
Geert was born May 7, 1965 in Wevelgen, Belgium, the son of the late Noel and Lutgarve Noppe Coone. Geert passion was raising and racing pigeons. He was a member of the Chattanooga Racing Pigeon Club Inc. He enjoy watching NASCAR and Soccer. Geert has traveled all over the world installing looms machine for the manufacturing of rugs. Geert was a faithful employee for over 20 years for Oriental Weavers and made many lifetime friends.
Geert is survived by his wife, Treasa Coone; two sons, Justin Clarence Payton (along with wife Amanda Nicole Payton) and Dillion Jacolby Bates; also three grandchildren, Addisyn Wright, Hunter Payton, and Tripp Payton; brother-in-law, Bobby(Tracy) Millwood; sister-in-laws, Sheri Delpaz and Elaine Barton; along with brother, Marinex and wife with other family and friends in Belgium. He was a loved husband, father (dah), poppy and friend.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 28, at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5-8 p.m.
