Otha Winfield “Mac“ McGann, Jr., 80, of Jefferson City, Tennessee, and formerly of Decatur, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020. 

He was preceded in death by his parents: Otha Winfield McGann, Sr. and Clara Beaulah Barger, brothers: Phil McGann, C. B. McGann, sisters: Bernice Morrison, Kay Perkinson, Geneva Cooley, Marcie McGann, former spouse: Huberta LeaAnn Jarvis.

Mac served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. He was aboard the U.S.S. Wasp as a Boilermaker from 1958 to 1962. He was employed by Farmers Chemical in Chattanooga and President of McGann Construction in Rocky Face GA. He also was President of the T&M Structures as well as President of ECI Marketing until his retirement in 2000.
 
Survivors include his sons: William Glenn McGann (Barbara) of Hartselle, AL, O. W. (Mac) McGann, III, (Carla)  of Arab, AL, Charles Michael Benjamin McGann (Rebecca) of Hixson, TN,  daughter: Ryann Ray McGann Ellis of Dalton, GA, grandchildren: Alexis, Stowe, Natalie, Jesse, Tiffany, Claire, Counsel, former spouses: Sondra Montgomery McGann, Mary Evelyn Perkinson, several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends. 

A Masonic Service will be held in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home on Friday, Aug. 14, at 1 p.m. with Reverend James Staton officiating. Interment will follow in the Decatur Cemetery. 

Family will receive friends on Friday, Aug. 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the service.
