Georgia Has 35 More Coronavirus Deaths; Cases Rise 3,320

Georgia state health officials reported on Friday there have been an additional 35 deaths due to the coronavirus. The new total is 4,573.

There were 3,320 new cases as that total reached 231,895 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 21,818 - up 237 since Wednesday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 699 cases, up 13; 11 deaths; 55 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 349 cases, up 25; 4 deaths; 17 hospitalizations - up 2

Dade County: 147, cases, up 9; 2 deaths; 10 hospitalizations - up 1

Walker County: 791 cases, up 31; 16 deaths, down 1; 41 hospitalizations - up 2

Whitfield County: 3,678 cases, up 24; 34 deaths; 188 hospitalizations, up 5

The cases remain centered around the Atlanta area:

Cobb County: 14,690 cases - up 227; 334 deaths - up 2 

DeKalb County: 14,746 cases - up 83; 254 deaths - up 3

Fulton County: 21,601 cases - up 228; 463 deaths - up 1

Gwinnett County: 21,175 cases - up 275; 283 deaths - up 1
