Catoosa County Has 5 More Coronavirus Deaths; Georgia Has 33 New Deaths

Georgia state health officials reported on Sunday there have been an additional 33 deaths due to the coronavirus. The new total is 4,702.

There were 1,873 new cases as that total reached 237,030 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 22,028 - up 59 since Saturday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 709 cases; 16 deaths, up 5; 55 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 360 cases, up 5; 4 deaths; 17 hospitalizations

Dade County: 154, cases, up 1; 2 deaths; 10 hospitalizations

Walker County: 814 cases, up 6; 17 deaths; 44 hospitalizations - up 1

Whitfield County: 3,720 cases, up 20; 38 deaths - up 2; 192 hospitalizations, up 1

The cases remain centered around the Atlanta area:

Cobb County: 14,893 cases - up 67; 339 deaths - up 1 

DeKalb County: 15,030 cases - up 104; 264 deaths - up 2

Fulton County: 21,993 cases - up 126; 474 deaths - up 2

Gwinnett County: 21,534 cases - up 123; 289 deaths - up 2
