Lola Mae Rigsby, 95, of Hixson, Tennessee, died and went to be with her Lord whom she had known for many years, on Saturday, September 12, 2020.

 

She was born June 6, 1925 in Dayton, Tennessee to the late Elisha and Essie Mae Dillard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Rigsby and a son, Thomas Rigsby.

 

Mrs. Rigsby was a member of Dallas Bay Baptist Church. She was an excellent seamstress and homemaker, who enjoyed caring for her family. She was a wonderful mother and her smile would light up the room.  She had a dry sense of humor.

 

Survivors include her children Nadine (Jerry) Shofner, Randy (Stephanie) Rigsby, and Beth (Andy) Gunn; Imogene Morgan Rigsby, wife of Thomas; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

 

Family graveside services will be held at Buttram Cemetery in Dayton, Tn., on Monday, Sept. 14.
