No New Virus Deaths In Hamilton County; 61 New Cases; State Has 14 More Deaths

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Hamilton County on Saturday is 61. The new total is 8,830. There have been no new deaths reported, said the county Health Department, for a total of 85. 

Tennessee had 14 more coronavirus deaths bringing the total to 2,078, state Health Department officials said. 

There were 933 new cases in the state for a total of 171,824.

The state currently has 696 people hospitalized from the virus, 109 less than on Saturday. 

There have been 155,865 people who have recovered from the virus in Tennessee (91 percent).

Testing numbers are above 2.451 million across the state.

Shelby County: 28,09 cases, up 83; 427 deaths, up 6

Davidson County: 25,184 cases, up 87; 279 deaths, up 2

Knox County: 8,073 cases, up 85; 67 deaths

Bledsoe County:  826 cases, up 4; 4 deaths

Bradley County: 2,710 cases, up 27; 16 deaths

Franklin County: 746 cases, up 12; 7 deaths

Grundy County: 182 cases, up 7; 4 deaths

Marion County: 434 cases, up 4; 7 deaths

McMinn County: 945 cases, up 12; 24 deaths

Meigs County: 202 cases, up 2; 3 deaths

Monroe County cases 944, up 1; 17 deaths

Polk County: 366 cases, up 1; 11 deaths

Rhea County: 723 cases, up 2; 8 deaths

Sequatchie County: 195 cases, up 2; 2 deaths
