Loretta Maxine Miller, 72, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday morning, September 17, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Evensville.

She was born on Jan. 31, 1948, in Oneida, Tn., the daughter of the late Paul Edison Keeton and Mary (Branum) Keeton. 

Loretta lived in Dayton for the past 35 years. She had been employed by the Rhea County Department of Education as a school bus driver for handicapped children. Loretta enjoyed cooking, sewing and was of the Baptist faith. 

She is survived by her four children, Alicia (Barry) Shaver, Treena (Terry) Mitchell, Wayne Miller all of Dayton and Bobbi (Glenn) Keylon of Evensville, her brother, Doug Keeton of Richmond, IN; sisters, Paulette (Roy) Mermoud of Richmond, IN and Trudy (Victor) Miller of Kingsport, TN, eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson. 

Funeral services for Loretta will be held Friday evening, Sept. 18, at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend John Fields officiating. She will be laid to rest in Smyrna Cemetery in Evensville, Tn.
