Sherman Franklin Williams
Sherman Franklin Williams, 86, of Rocky Face, entered into Heaven on Monday, September 21, 2020.
He was the son of the late Sherman Foster and Loda Brock Williams and was also preceded in death by his siblings, Richard and Audrey Williams, Pauline and Elbert Miller and Myrtle and Vernon Tidmore.
He is survived by his wife, Melba Williams; daughter, Sharon and Ricky Polk; granddaughters, Ashley and Barry Gilley and Courtney and Darren Gleaton; great-grandchildren, Christian and Havyn Gleaton; sister, Maudie and John Wimpy; and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Pastor Jay Tenney officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
