Dunlap's Andy Miller (# 17) was victorious Friday night at Crossville Speedway on the Cumberland Plateau. Miller's been a regular at the dirt track since Boyd's Speedway in Chattanooga has been shut down. The state-lined track was scheduled to reopen Friday but Mother Nature intervened with too much rain Thursday.
Also victorious Friday at Crossville was locals Cameron Weaver (# 16) in Crate Late Model and Jacob Sharp (# 1) in Front Wheel Drive.
North Georgia Speedway in Dalton/Chatsworth is racing Saturday night as is I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater and Mountain View Raceway in Dayton/Spring City just North of Chattanooga.
The United Championship Racing Alliance announced a Fall Special Event at Fort Payne Motor Speedway in Alabama for Oct. 24. The Witchy Fifty will see Super Late Models compete for $3,000 to-Win the 50 lapper, along with UCRA Crate Late Models and local racing.
