Marlene J. Miller
Marlene J. Miller, age 89, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Friday morning, September 25, 2020 in a Chattanooga health care facility.
Mrs. Miller was born in Kokomo, In. and she was the daughter of the late Ethel Berry Keller and Joseph Keller. Her husband, Vaughn Miller; daughter, Rebecca Joan Self; son, Edward Dale Miller; four sisters, two brothers and her Yorkie she called "Baby Doll" also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Miller worked many years for St. John's Manufacturing and Hickory Springs Manufacturing where she retired. Most of all she was a homemaker. She was known for being a hard worker. Mrs. Miller enjoyed reading her bible, watching Christian Television and classic movies. Most of all she loved being with her family. She attended the Spring Place Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her daughters, Regina Day and Angela Smith both of Cleveland; sons, Charles Miller and his wife Charlene of Calhoun, Tennessee, William Miller and his wife Rosalie of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, David Miller and his wife Karen of Cleveland, Mark Miller and his wife Vicky of Newport, North Carolina, Jeffrey Miller and his wife Sherry of Cleveland; 24 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Bishop Daniel Carlton officiating. Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with grandsons serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
