James Tracy Tulloss, 54, of Harrison, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020, in a local hospital.
He was employed for many years as a machine operator with Dupont/KORDSA and continued working with Plastic Omnium. He was a member of Greater Community Church of Chattanooga C.O.G.I.C. where he served as a deacon and on the Trustee Board.
James was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvas and Valerie Tulloss, Sr.
Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Korshantae Tulloss; son, Christian Chase Tulloss; daughter, Sayvion Whitaker, granddog, Bella all of Harrison; father, Alvas (Gwen) Tulloss, Jr. of Nashville; mother, Barbara DuConge of Detroit; grandmother, Ann Abernathy of Detroit; brother, Christopher DuConge of Detroit, sisters, Andre (Aaron) Lambert of Gainesville, Ga., and Alicia Tulloss of Nashville; nephews, Aaron Lambert, Quinn Lambert, both of Gainesville, and Markus Montague of Detroit; mother-in-law, Jennifer Smith of Chattanooga; father-in-law, Diarry (Venita) Howell of Ooltewah; best friend, Robert Houston of Chattanooga; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He will lie in state on Friday, Oct. 2, from 12:30-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
A family service will be on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 11 a.m. at Greater Community Church of Chattanooga C.O.G.I.C. with Pastor J. Anthony Taylor as the eulogist. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
