Hamilton County Has No New COVID Deaths And 71 New Cases; Tennessee Has 31 More Deaths

Hamilton County coronavirus deaths remain at 95 and 72 new cases, up from 44, were reported on Tuesday. The new total is 9,774. 

There have been 9,075 people recover from the virus in Hamilton County, which is 93 percent. There are currently 604 active cases, up from 595 yesterday. 

There are 61 people hospitalized in Hamilton County from COVID, and three additional suspected cases. Of those, 29 are Hamilton County residents. Eleven are in intensive care. 

Tennessee had 31 more coronavirus deaths bringing the total to 2,420, state Health Department officials said. 

There were 879 new cases in the state for a total of 194,611.

The state currently has 794 people hospitalized from the virus, 27 more than on Monday. 

There have been 177,945 people who have recovered from the virus in Tennessee (91 percent).

Testing numbers are above 2.853 million across the state.

Davidson County: 26,797 cases, up 112; 311 deaths, up 4

Knox County: 9,605 cases, up 50; 79 deaths, down 1

Bledsoe County:  862 cases; 4 deaths

Bradley County: 2,972 cases, up 5; 17 deaths

Grundy County: 317 cases, up 5; 6 deaths

Marion County: 551 cases, up 13; 8 deaths

Meigs County: 232 cases, up 4; 3 deaths

Polk County: 407 cases, up 1; 10 deaths

Rhea County: 854 cases, up 4; 13 deaths

Sequatchie County: 244 cases, up 1; 1 death
