75 More Georgia Residents Die From COVID; 2,733 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Thursday there have been an additional 75 deaths due to the coronavirus. The new total is 5,868.

There were 2,733 new cases as that total reached 277,288 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 25,259, up 234 from Wednesday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 902 cases, up 17; 17 deaths; 64 hospitalizations, up 1

Chattooga County: 610 cases, up 17; 6 deaths; 36 hospitalizations, up 4

Dade County: 211 cases, up 3; 4 deaths; 14 hospitalizations

Walker County: 1,083 cases, up 14; 23 deaths, up 1; 52 hospitalizations

Whitfield County: 4,064 cases, up 34; 55 deaths; 215 hospitalizations
