Louise Clark Evans, 92, of Benton, went home to be with the Lord, peacefully, at her home on January 9, 2021.
She was born Jan. 16, 1928 to the late Jimmy Clark and Bertha Bishop Clark.
Louise was a lifelong member and the oldest living member of Welcome Valley Baptist Church. She loved her family so much and enjoyed spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tim Evans; daughter, Helen Wilcoxon; sons, David Evans and Marion “Cotton” Evans; son-in-law, Sterling Wilcoxon; great-granddaughter, Emma Renner; sister, Mary Lee Withrow; and brothers, Hoyt and Fred Clark.
Survivors include her loving daughter, Tanna Evans and fiancé, Mike Hanson; daughters-in-law, Connie Evans and Wanda Evans; grandchildren, Randy Evans, Sabrina Evans, Fred (Kim) Wilcoxon, Nikki (Jimmy) Renner, Stacy (Mark) McDonald, Tonya (Tim) Smith and Tammy McDonald; great-grandchildren, Aaron Ysidro, Alyssa Ysidro, Jake Evans, Mason (Lindsay) Wilcoxon, Jordan Wilcoxon, Evan Renner, Melina Spurlin, Anna Spurlin, Christian Smith, Savannah (Elijah) Pickel and Izzy Tipton; great-great-grandchildren, Boone Pickel, Knox and Jax Kincannon, Audrey, Haddie and Indila Ysidro, Emma Cross, Myles and Briley Nefus; and several special nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at Welcome Valley Baptist Church, with Pastor Carl Haulk and Pastor Chad Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with grandsons and great-grandsons serving as pallbearers.
Her family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at Higgins Funeral Home and from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, prior to the service at the church.
