Johnny Lee Place, 57 of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at his home.

He was a Christian and of the Lutheran faith.  Mr. Place worked in construction most of his life.

He is survived by his domestic partner, Tracy Austin; his mother, Melinda Lawson; his father Jerry Place; and step-mother, Betty Place; two sons, Derrick Austin, and Keith Austin; two daughters, Kaycie Phillips and Brittany Place; three granddaughters, Kayla Phillips, Katie Phillips, and Isabella Shirley.

Services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
