Robert E. Stephens passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021.

Robert was born on August 3, 1928 to the late Millard L. Stephens and Anna B. Stephens.  He served his county in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Robert was also preceded in death by his brothers, Millard Lee Stephens and Jim Stephens.

He is survived by his wife, Lela F. Stephens, children, Laura Ann Johnson, Karen Suzanne Taylor and Robert E. Stephens Jr., three grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Matthew Johnson and Hope Johnson, many nieces and nephews.

During this time of COVID-19 the family ask for no visitation. 

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2021 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating.

Due to COVID-19, we request that mask be worn at all times at the cemetery, and that all Hamilton County and the CDC’s mandates be adhered to.
