Tom Thurman
Thomas “Tom” Eugene Thurman, 74, of Ringgold, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dentis and Ernestine Thurman; and son-in-law, Tim Green.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Elaine Thurman; children, Kim Green, Vanessa Dearing, Aimee Evans, and Jason Thurman; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mike Angel officiating.
Interment will be at Gordy Cemetery in Ringgold.
Pallbearers are Jason Thurman, Austin Graham, Caleb Green, Erik Standridge, Jonathan Walker, and Drake Jeter.
Honorary pallbearers are Tim Edgeman and Ethan Slaughter.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-9 p.m.
Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
