Linda Goforth
Linda Sue Bell Goforth, age 74, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, January 17, 2021, at a local hospital.
She was born Sept. 23, 1946 in Copperhill, Tn., a daughter of the late Harvey and Irene Cavender Bell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Goforth; and brothers, James Bell and Bo Bell.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Brandy Girard of Adairsville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Sandy and Michelle Pritchett of Chatsworth, GA; brothers, David Bell of Dalton, GA, and Michael Bell of Calhoun, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Shelia and Gary Bingham of Dalton, GA; special friend, Leah Wells of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Joshua and Susan Lawrence, Arielle and Cody Brown, Mariah and Dakota Grogan, Cory Pritchett, Hayden Pritchett; great-grandchildren, Noah, Nora Jo, Henry, Silas; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held Monday, Jan. 25, at 11 a.m. from the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens at the Celebration Mausoleum Pavilion with Dakota Grogan officiating.
Due to the national health crisis and the COVID-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
