U.S. Army Veteran Retired From Chattanooga Glass Company After More Than 30 Years

Daniel Homer Martin, 87, passed away peacefully in Chattanooga on Saturday, January 16, 2021. 

Mr. Martin was a United States Army veteran, and a member of the Army Medical Corps.  He was also champion Golden Gloves boxer, and a member of the Greene County Beagle Club. Dan retired from Chattanooga Glass Company after over 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Emma Joyce Delzell Martin, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, Jan. 25, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Rick Kilpatrick and Jewel Francisco officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Dan will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Turner Funeral Home.
