Harry David Worley, born October 10, 1946 went home to be with the Lord, and his son Justin Worley, on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his son, Justin Worley.

He is survived by his wife and sweetheart, Shelby J. Worley; sons, Aaron (Ashley) Worley, Zachary (Linh) Bartenfeld, and Louie (Valarie) Bartenfeld; extra son, Alan “Smitty” Smith; brother, Mike (Cindy) Worley; grandchildren, Victory Bartenfeld, Haley Bartenfeld, and James Worley; and many members of the large Gentry family.

Harry loved his country and served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1977. He earned military honors and served in Vietnam. Harry worked with the Dalton Police Department for eight years and with the Hamilton Medical Center Public Safety Department for 12 years.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Jan. 21, from 5-8 p.m. at Love Funeral Home.

Funeral services led by Roy Gentry Jr. will be held Friday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Dogwood Baptist Church Cemetery.
