Doris Ann Burch, 75, passed away on January 10, 2021, in Chattanooga.
As she rested peacefully in her home surrounded by her four children, Doris heard God call her name and went to His open arms.
Doris was welcomed with open arms to her eternal resting place by her husband, John A. Burch Sr; son, Winfred M. (Butch) Burch; grandson, Chris (Cee-Jay) Jones; father, Charles E. Finney, Sr., and mother, Charlie Will Anderson; brother, Charles E. Finney, Jr.; sisters, Lottie Mae Finney, Luradell (Robert) Robinson, and Margie E. Sims; grandmother, Margie Combs, all of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She leaves to cherish, share, and continue her loving, humble, and contagiously joy-filled legacy to her three daughters, Linda Burch, of Chattanooga, TN, Johnetta (Carl) Hanns, of Clarksville, TN, and Sarita Burch, of Chattanooga, TN; her one and only baby boy, John A. (Tammy) Burch, Jr., of Chattanooga, TN; her only remaining sister, Joyce E. Finney; special friends, Sherlaine Rivers, Carolyn Thornton, Anganette McGraw, Pearl Beasley, Emily Southers, Ronald
Oliver, Waymon Oliver, Johnny Cherry, Diane Lyons, Georgette Hughes, Ken Bramlett; special cousins, Patricia Williams, Jackie Tate, Sandra Gunn, Gwendolyn Tate, and Hershel Tate Jr.
Public viewing will be held 2-6 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021, at the funeral home.
A private funeral service will be held.
Interment is at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
