Howard, Thelma Hysinger McKinney (Cleveland)

Thelma Hysinger McKinney Howard, 88, passed away on January 23, 2021 at a local healthcare facility. She was born Aug. 10, 1932, in Hamilton County to the late Raleigh & Grey Hysinger. She was an avid bowler and managed the Village Bowling Lanes for 20 years before retiring. Thelma also attended Bellefounte Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeff McKinney; and first & second husbands, Charles McKinney and Gene Howard.

She is survived by her son, Blake (Debbie) McKinney; brother, Wendell (Nadine) Hysinger; grandchildren, Laura McKinney (Sean Carden), Lisa McKinney Inglis and Alan McKinney; and five great-grandchildren, Ana, Evan, Mireya, Nadya, and Kaylei.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
