Cathy Vandergriff Gibbons
On Saturday, January 23, 2021, Cathy Vandergriff Gibbons, 60, passed away peacefully at her home.
She was a loving wife, mother, and daughter. Cathy was a graduate of Red Bank High School, and Chattanooga State Community College. She was an avid baker and Respiratory Therapist at CHI Memorial Hospital for over 30 years.
Cathy was preceded in death by her mother, Lodema Vandergriff.
She is survived by her father, Tommy Vandergriff and Norma; her husband, Adrian Gibbons; her son, Dr. Adam Clay Vandergriff; her sister, Rhonda Vandergriff Jocsing; her nieces, Victoria Jade Jocsing, and Peyton Danielle Jocsing; and loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, with the Reverend Kevin Becker officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 1, at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel.
