Georgia Has 68 New Coronavirus Deaths; 6,153 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Tuesday there have been 68 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 9,966.

There were 4,045 new cases, as that total reached 591,106 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 43,018, up 423 from Monday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 3,407 cases, up 27; 38 deaths, up 1; 161 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 1,608 cases, up 8; 44 deaths; 107 hospitalizations, u[ 1

Dade County: 747 cases, up 10; 7 deaths; 39 hospitalizations

Walker County: 3,976 cases, up 52; 55 deaths; 175 hospitalizations

Whitfield County: 11,258 cases, up 69; 127 deaths, up 5; 551 hospitalizations, up 17
