Seven Area Athletes Make 2020 TSWA All-State Volleyball Teams

Sale Creek Leads The Way With Three Selectees

The Tennessee Sports Writers Association has announced its 2020 All-State volleyball teams in all classes. The Chattanooga-area placed seven athletes on the squads, with Sale creek leading the way with three selectees.

Baylor had two honorees, while Cleveland and Notre dame had one each.

The Lady Panthers landed two outside hitters, freshman Ava Higgins and senior Lillie Morgan, on the Class A team, along with senior libero Allison Smith.

In Class 3A, another outside hitter, Cleveland’s Joy Douglass, a senior, was honored.

In Division II, Baylor standout, Elaine Redman, a senior outside hitter was selected, along with teammate, senior middle hitter Tess Margio.
Notre Dame senior outside hitter McKenna Brown rounded out the local honorees.
