Hamilton County Has 86 More COVID Cases And 2 More Deaths; Tennessee Has 7 More Deaths

The Hamilton County Health Department reported two more coronavirus deaths on Monday and 86 new positive cases, down from 107 on Friday. The total number of cases in the county now stands at 62,738. The death total is at 633. 

It is reported the deaths were men; one white and one race not determined; one age 71-80 and one age 81 or older.

The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations is 128 in Hamilton County - down from 157 on Friday. Four more are hospitalized with suspected COVID. There are 39 Hamilton County inpatients and 42 patients are in ICU - down from 46 on Friday.

The number of those who have recovered from coronavirus in Hamilton County is 60,710, which is 97 percent. There are 1,395 active cases, down from 1,442 on Friday.

Tennessee reported 746 new cases on Monday, for a total of 1,253,863 coronavirus cases. 

There were seven more deaths in Tennessee reported on Thursday, for a total of 15,583.

The state currently has 1,751 people hospitalized from the virus, 84 fewer than the day before.

The number of coronavirus tests that have been administered in the state is 10.083 million. 

There have been 1,208,867 Tennesseans that have recovered from the virus, which is 96 percent.

Bradley County:  21,719 cases, up 46; 176 deaths, up 2

Grundy County: 2,752 cases, up 7; 37 deaths

Marion County: 5,649 cases, up 14; 52 deaths

McMinn County: 10,269 cases, up 24; 122 deaths

Meigs County: 2,128 cases, up 3; 27 deaths

Polk County: 3,119 cases, up 14; 27 deaths

Rhea County: 6,856 cases, up 35; 90 deaths, down 1

Sequatchie County: 2,921 cases, up 21; 31 deaths

Knox County: 76,787 cases, up 449; 871 deaths, down 1

Davidson County: 119,195 cases, up 459; 1,122 deaths, up 2

Shelby County: 142,431 cases, up 434; 2,173 deaths, up 1
