Doris Clark, 82, of Lookout Mountain, passed away October 13, 2021. She was born April 30, 1939 to the late Woodrow and Emma Cates. Doris was of the Baptist faith. She loved gardening, painting, ceramics and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Tony Clark and Lamar Clark; grandson, Lebron Portwood; and brothers, Leon Cates and Harvey Cates.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Sherry Clark and Dennis and Regina Clark; seven grandchildren, Chris Clark, Valerie Clark, Daniel (Bethany) Clark, Matthew Clark, Jennifer Clark, Lisa (Bill) Coffey and Troy Portwood; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Janice Massey and Gwendolyn “Sissy” Blevins; brothers, Grandville Cates and Devoit (Pam) Cates; and nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16 at the Trenton Chapel, with Brother Tommy Phillips officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday from 3-7 p.m. and Saturday from noon-2 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Trenton.
