Belvoir Christian Academy Students Celebrate Return Of First Grader With Leukemia

Brooklyn Rogiers, first grade student at Belvoir Christian Academy in East Ridge, was honored during a school-wide parade to celebrate her return to the area after spending several weeks in a Florida hospital receiving treatment for B Cell Leukemia.

Over the summer, Brooklyn was diagnosed with cancer, and was taken to Gainesville, Fl. for treatment.

She was recently released to continue treatment in Chattanooga, and to show support for her, BCA students held a parade, featuring hand-made posters, and wearing gold in recognition of childhood cancer awareness.
