Sarah Cabe, 83 of Sequatchie, Tennessee, passed away at her home on Saturday, October 16, 2021. 

Sarah was born on April 2, 1938 to the late Hubert King and Myrtle Lewis King.  Sarah worked in the elections for many years.  She was lovingly known as "Nanny" by her grandchildren.  Although she didn't have a green thumb, she loved the beauty of flowers and loved watching her Tennessee Vols.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, George Cabe; parents, Hubert King and Myrtle Lewis King; brothers, Van King, J.W. King and David King; sisters, Mary Cate Ladd and Betty Ann Hall; granddaughter, Ashley Huffstuttler.

Sarah leaves her memories to her sons, Rodney Cabe and William (Nicole) Cabe; daughters, Sarah Williams, Cindy (Allen) Patterson and Angie Callan; grandchildren, Crystal (Chris) Alder, Danny (Cheyenne) Williams Jr, Amber (Duane) Williams, Hershel (Carrie) Bettis, Angel (Tim) Bryant, Tori Callan and Matthew Callan; niece, Carolyn Callan and family; along with 16 great grandchildren.

DUE TO COVID REGULATIONS, MASK WILL BE MANDATORY WHETHER YOU HAVE UNDERLYING ISSUES OR NOT.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 12-6 p.m. CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.

There will be a graveside service held on Thursday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m. CST  at Sequatchie Valley Gardens in Jasper, with Pastor Clinton Bryant officiating.

Pallbearers are Danny Williams, Chris Alder, Hershel Bettis, Matthew Callan, Brian Webb and Chris Payne.  Honorary pallbearers are William Cabe and Cameron Williams.
