Georgia Has 164 More Coronavirus Deaths And 4,161 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Thursday there have been 164 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 23,236.

There are 4,161 new cases on Thursday, as that total reaches 1,238,404 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

Hospitalizations are at 82,365, which is an increase of 273 from Wednesday.

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 8,082 cases, up 19; 81 deaths; 289 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 3,588 cases, up 15; 85 deaths; 239 hospitalizations, up 1

Dade County: 1,752 cases, up 5; 15 deaths; 66 hospitalizations, down 1

Walker County: 9,243 cases, up 12; 107 deaths, up 1; 342 hospitalizations, down 1

Whitfield County: 18,843 cases, up 31; 299 deaths, up 2; 882 hospitalizations
