Region 3-4A football coaches recently met and have announced the awards for the just completed 2021 season. Red Bank’s AD Crutcher was named Most Valuable Player,while Central's Donovan Smith and East Hamilton’s Jeremiah Flemmons were named Offensive Co-MVPs. The Hurricanes’ Mel McFarland was the Defensive MVP and Red Bank’s Jake Wright was the Special Teams MVP.
The Lions’ Chris Brown was tapped as Coach of the Year. John Crawford of Central and Patrick Liner of East Hamilton were the Co-Offensive Assistants of the Year, while the Canes’ Gerald Jones was named Defensive Assistant of the Year.
