Jerry Moore
Jerry D. Moore, affectionately known as “Donny”, was born on May 9, 1955, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late James Waltons and Elizabeth Collier. He transitioned from his earthly home on November 14, 2021.
Jerry graduated from City High School and was self-employed as an electrician, cable installer, and all-around handyman. He was a lover of family and people. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help when and whom he could.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Earl McAllister, Ed Moore, and Jimmy Moore McAllister; sister Glenda Moore Pitts.
Jerry leaves to cherish his precious memories, son, Orlando D. (Sharon) Green, Chattanooga, TN; stepson, LaMark Brannon, Nashville, TN; sisters, Linda Moore, Ellene Collier, Burnet Collier, and Jamesetta Waltons, all of Chattanooga, TN; brothers, Robert “Bobby” (Opal) Moore McAllister, Atlanta, GA, James Collier, Bernard (Annette) Collier, Marvin Waltons, all of Chattanooga, TN, Anthony Moore, Elizabeth KY; special nieces, Jennifer (Robert) Guerard, Tephanie (James) King, all of Chattanooga, TN, Kimberlyn Moore, Atlanta, GA; special nephews, Shon Espey, Gregory, and Lorenzo Fields, of Chattanooga, TN; grandsons, Jarian Green, Jordan Green, Calix Green, all of Chattanooga, TN.
Jerry's Nashville beloved family includes Petrice Brannon, Marion Prigmore, Darlene Myers, Rene (Charles) Onwu, and Cynthia Prigmore; a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, in the funeral home chapel.
